Hello! Welcome to ForexCop.com! My name is Lily DeLaire, an amateur forex trader since early 2005 and a part-time webmaster
since 2002. Like many other forex traders online, I've been searching for a trading method that can help me make some profit out
of this giant market. But for the past two years I've got no luck. Instead, I was ripped off by a handful of
forex signal services and forex educators who claimed to be gurus in the foreign exchange market. They charged
hefty prices for information that was either useless or completely nonsense, and for forex signals that barely
made up the monthly fee, or even resulted in losses.
I refuse to give up my search for a profitable trading method. That's why I'm still looking... but in the mean time, I hate to waste my hard-earned money on those crooks. I always wished there would be some kind of free monitoring service that I can double-check a forex company before I buy anything from them. So I was trying to search for polls or reviews about forex products and services. As you can see, there're not many of them out there. And all of the polls I've read so far are all either biased or carrying some kind of profit agenda. That doesn't help much! There was a forex review site that I really liked at first. After reading many posted opinions that praised a signal service, I decided to subscribe to that service. After six weeks I realized that it was no better than any useless signals I got before. Frustrated because I couldn't get my money back, I submitted a poor review about that service. Guess what, my review was never posted!!! A few days later I emailed the poll administrator and asked why my review was never posted, the response was "We never received your post(!)." So I submitted another review... well, it simply disappeared in the vast Internet jungle! At that moment I realized that the poll website (which I can't name here due to privacy concerns), even though it sounds so great and looks so legit, was simply another scam. Depressed and frustrated at the same time, I decided to create this website Forex Cop, with the intention to help myself and other traders to have unbiased feedback from other forex traders about any forex products or services online. What I'm trying to accomplish is to have as many independent feedback/reviews as possible about each forex website, so that common traders like me can have a better idea before deciding to buy anything. The world is not perfect, as you know it. For every forex website in question, there're always biased reviews from related parties: good reviews by owners and bad reviews by their competitors! It's impossible to track and verify whether they're related parties or not. Therefore as a reader, you got to make your own judgment whether to factor in any of the reviews or not at all. At first I thought about this problem and was about to give up my fight. But then I convinced myself, that it would still be better than nothing. I believe if you read enough, you can spot the biased ones from others, just by judging the tone and intention of the message.
